New Brunswick Business Immigration stream
administered by the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour (PETL), is an immigration program that allows the Government of New Brunswick to nominate individuals with the greatest ability to become economically established in New Brunswick, Canada.
Program Requirement
- Be between 21-59 years of age
- Intention to live in New Brunswick permanently, while owning and managing a local business
- Be able to invest an eligible investment of at least CAD$150,000 before tax to establish a business in New Brunswick
- Have a verifiable personal net worth of at least CAD$500,000
- Have experience in at least three out of the last five years in managing and owning a business (of at least 51%) OR have experience in at least three out of the last five years in a senior business management role
- Have a minimum language ability of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 or above in English or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) 5 or above in French
- Have completed a Canadian secondary (high school) diploma or a foreign high school diploma equal to a Canadian credential, at a minimum
- Eligibility based on points system - min 65 of 100 points to apply
- Program requires an exploratory visit to apply - min 5 days in New Brunswick
